ACTIVATE is a simple and straightforward way to start your ESG journey. It consists of three easy steps designed to help you measure your current sustainability practices, and give you confidence to make further progress at your own pace. As soon as you begin to measure your sustainability, this positive action deserves to be shared, and we provide you with the tools and guidance to do so.

> First, discover how you are doing, and what you should be doing

The first step is to determine your starting-point. This involves an assessment of the sustainable activities you are currently involved in; and how well you are performing in view of the key sustainability topics you should be focusing on.

We do this in two stages:

i- Impact Scan - a customised 'materiality assessment' to determine the ESG themes your business should be prioritising.

ii- ESG Assessment - a detailed performance analysis and benchmarking assessment, which leverages the results from the Impact Scan and is based on your sector, size and situation, to determine your strengths and areas for improvement.

The platform provided by our partners, Eevery, provides an expert scoring model, developed specifically for SMEs, and is fully calibrated to international frameworks, such as the EU Taxonomy, GRI, CSRD and the latest laws and regulations.

BLUEPRINT

> Next, based on your results, find out the steps to take to improve further

We design a strategy for your sustainability progress, by building on the sustainability target areas identified in your baseline measurements, to ensure that your attention and resources are directed to the ESG topics most relevant to your business.

We perform this process in line with the concept of ‘Double Materiality’ introduced by the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which aims to help you prioritise the most relevant and most material sustainability themes.

Your ESG blueprint will take the form of specific areas for improvement with practical recommendations, delivered via a dedicated Improvement Center, as well as more strategic guidance to ensure your ESG action plan fits in with your long-term business goals..

COMMUNICATE

> To conclude this module, learn how to communicate your progress and targets

Starting your ESG journey is evidence of your commitment to sustainability, and you can begin to communicate your sustainability progress and performance as soon as you begin. We will provide complete sustainability reports that capture both your baseline measurements, as well as your improvement over time, to positively demonstrate your achievements to your stakeholders.

Alongside this, we will set out a clear and achievable phased implementation plan which reconciles your current position and resources with your new ESG goals. This step is critical as some targets may be easily workable, whilst others will require further in-depth analysis and inputs from dedicated specialists, to harmonise multiple conflicting variables.
